Art Carapola is NewVista’s President and CTO,
and
is responsible for the organization’s strategy,
client relationships and execution.
Mr. Carapola has focused NewVista to be leaders
in defining datacenter architectures which
embody the most current technologies and
concepts to optimize the efficiency and
operational readiness of the environment. He
has personally led the efforts to architect,
implement and relocate major facilities and
datacenters for a number of noteworthy firms.
Art Carapola was previously Chief
Technology Officer at GE Capital for the
Commercial Real Estate Finance Division, where
he spearheaded the technical transition to an
e-Business, developed risk analysis and data
warehouse analysis systems, automated business
processes and integrated front and back office
technologies.
Earlier Mr. Carapola was Vice President of
Global Technology at MasterCard
International - responsible for all corporate
technology worldwide (25 countries), and
First Vice President at Prudential
Securities, where he implemented of all
Headquarters technology. Mr. Carapola was also
Chief Technology Officer for Tishman Speyer
Properties.

initiatives at several firms resulting in
substantial organizational and systems
improvement.
Art Carapola is a technologist and executive
manager with a depth of experience across a
broad range of activities including technical
vision and strategy, datacenter and IT
infrastructure, application and web development,
business process automation, and business
intelligence, data warehousing and reporting.
Mr. Carapola has won several awards for his
work.
Mr. Carapola is a member if the Information
Systems Audit and Control Association / IT
Governance Institute
Mr. Carapola has a Bachelors degree in
Electrical Engineering, has done postgraduate
work in Electrical Engineering, is Six
Sigma Certified as well as certified in
Advanced Leadership from GE Capital and is a
Certified Data Center Design Professional.
