Prudential Securities Voice Systems

Prudential Securities Back Office Operations Center includes a large 5ESS Central Office Telephone Switch.  This Telephone Carrier class system is capable of supporting over 10,000 users receiving a wide variety of services.

Prudential Securities pioneered using this class of switch in an internal PBX environment.  In order to successfully deploy the 5ESS, special environmental considerations needed to be satisfied, including temperature and humidity control, dust and particulate filtering, and substantial power conditioning and grounding requirements.
